Who We Are

BEST FIRE ARM REVIEWS was started by a small group of shooters who got tired of reading the same recycled spec sheets dressed up as "reviews." We're not influencers, and we don't get paid to say a gun is good. We shoot it, we time it, we take it apart, and then we tell you the truth — including the parts manufacturers would rather we skip.

Every review on this site is based on actual range time with the actual product. If we haven't fired it, we don't review it.

Our Team

John K. — Range Instructor NRA-certified instructor with years of experience teaching new shooters fundamentals, defensive pistol craft, and safe handling. John leads testing on anything related to concealed carry and home defense use cases.

Dave M. — Master Gunsmith Handles the mechanical side of every review — reliability testing, parts compatibility, aftermarket fit, and what tends to break (or not) after thousands of rounds.

Gary A. — Ballistics Expert Brings the numbers: velocity, accuracy at distance, ammo performance, and the technical detail that separates a real review from a marketing blurb.

Holly N. — Product Reviewer Covers gear, optics, holsters, and the buyer's-guide side of the site — helping readers compare options instead of just listing specs.

Our Review Standards

We buy or borrow what we test. We disclose it either way.
We don't accept payment for positive reviews. Ever.

We update reviews when products change, including when a manufacturer releases a new generation or revises a model.

We're gun owners first. This site exists because we wished something like it existed when we were trying to make our own buying decisions. If a product doesn't hold up, we say so — even if it means missing out on a commission.
